The VM Cultural exists since 1987, with the task of taking care of Vinicius’s legacy, which was left to his children, with the guidance as to how he would like that all of this should proceed after his passing away. We are managers of Vinicius’s literary-musical work, as well as holders of the moral and patrimonial rights. Our purpose is, more than anything, to preserve and maintain in the highest level the circulation of Vinicius’s work in Brazil and abroad. The goal of our activity and work is to share and spread the work of a multiple poet, giving access of his prolific output to students, teachers, researchers and admirers, who can have here the assurance to find a reference site. Everything has constantly been done with a family trusteeship and with the guidance of experts. Our attempt is to monitor time changes, its new directions, combining the will of a man, a father, an artist, taking him to where he always wanted to be, near his readers, his audience. Without leaving aside the just and deserved respect for his rights.
